- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections, with winnings rolled over as stake for each subsequent selection.
- American Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number, showing how much you win on a $100 bet or how much you must stake to win $100.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to each team to balance the chances of winning, often with half or quarter goal lines.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Slip
- The electronic form where you confirm the details of the bet you want to place.
- Bookmaker
- A person or company that sets odds and accepts bets.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, either to lock in a profit or cut a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number, such as 2.50, which includes the stake in the total return.
- Deposit Bonus
- Extra funds added to your account when you make a deposit, usually up to a certain limit.
- Edge
- The advantage a bettor has over the bookmaker, often expressed as a percentage.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, like 3/2, indicating how much profit you make relative to your stake.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit you can use to place a bet without risking your own money.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker adds to the odds.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is in progress, with odds that change during the game.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
